My name is Marcel Mendoza, and I'm a Psychotherapist (Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist) with over 15 years of experience in the mental health field.  Besides serving as a private practicioner, I currently work in a mental health agency where I clinically supervise therapist interns. My passion is using my professional training and life experiences to help you resolve relationship issues, manage depression, anxiety or stress and achieve your personal goals.

After being exposed early on to people of different cultures and life situations, I gained respect and an attraction to everyone's unique struggles with a passion to help. I began working to achieve my goal of becoming an experienced therapist by first earning a Bachelor of Science Degree in Psychology in 1991. In 1997, I received my Masters Degree in Counseling Psychology and obtained licensure in 2003. The experience of working in the mental health field began in my early 20's. I  worked in both inpatient and outpatient clinical settings in Los Angeles County with people of all ages, cultural backgrounds and mental health diagnoses.
